Itinerary
Our adventure starts
We travel to Omalo in Tusheti highland region
Travelling over Gombori pass to Kakheti valley with a stop Alaverdi monastery
Resuming our journey we soon start with Abano pass 2826 meters high this is a very scenic road with spectacular views
There are places to stop and enjoy the view and have a picnic lunch

Drive to Stepantsminda stops at Zhinvali reservoir ,Ananuri fortress and Gudauri viewpoint

Early morning we visit Gergeti trinity church
After breakfast Gveleti waterfalls with some hiking
In the afternoon we visit Juta
It is a steep hike but not very far . Horse ride is available on request

Drive back to Tbilisi
Stop in Mtskheta old capital of Georgia and Jvari monastery

Drive to Vardzia cave city
On the way visit Dahbashi canyon
We pass highland lakes with picnic lunch next to one lake

Visit Vardzia cave city , explore Khertvisi fortress and Akhaltsikhe castle
Walk in Borjomi park optional for free time

Drive to Kutaisi this is a bit of cultural day
In Kutaisi we visit Bagrati cathedral and Gelati monastery
